Simulation Lab Driver- PRN, Days Here’s What You Need Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience 2 Years CDL experience Required 2 Years Maintenance and repair of equipment and mechanical experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications DL - Drivers License Upon Hire Required And CDL - Commercial Drivers License Upon Hire Required And DOTMD - DOT CDL Medical Certificate Upon Hire Required What You Will Do · Operating and maintaining the THR MSTU · The MSTU is equipped with costly medical equipment and should be driven safely. · Operates THR commercial vehicle in accordance with safety policy and procedures. · Operates the unit on schedule and on the designated routes, complying with all traffic regulations to ensure a safe and smooth ride. Determines and follows safe and efficient routes. · Using a written checklist, conducts pre- and post-trip inspections of the mobile unit. · Park in designated spots at designated destinations, securing the mobile unit as required. · Maintain records of mileage and gas receipts to and from each destination. · Keep the inside of the mobile unit clean; remove trash after each trip and regulate heating/cooling and lighting for overall comfort. · Take the mobile unit to the car wash as deemed necessary. · Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies as needed. · Responsible for following Texas Health Resource’s Fleet Standard Operating Procedure. · Maintain current Commercial Driver’s License, DOT Medical Certification, and other relevant certifications. · Maintenance/Service/Repairs/Safety · Execute the timely delivery of mobile unit · Maintenance/Service/Repairs · Perform minor and limited mechanical, electrical, and machining maintenance tasks. · Inspect the mobile unit for safety and maintenance requirements. · Troubleshoot technical issues and offer solutions. · Collaborate with field team to resolve problems and coordinate repairs. · Maintain regular communication with leadership, providing updates on ongoing service tickets, including status, progress, and resolutions. · Participate in monthly meetings providing updates on service tickets. · Communicate with leadership, vendors, and field team regarding service tickets. · Obtain necessary approvals for parts and repairs. · Maintain detailed records of repairs and replacements. · Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and safe work practices. · Utilize tools and equipment skillfully and safely.
