About The Position

This position is a temporary 8-month engineering simulation co-op assignment from January 2026-August 2026. Only students currently attending college or university will be considered.

Requirements

• Required Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering fields
• GPA: 2.5 or above
• Status: Junior or Senior
• Completion of the following courses is required for this position: Introductory Fluids

Nice To Haves

• Experience with numerical simulations
• Experience with CAD software
• Demonstrated experience using Python or other programming/scripting languages

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the engineering simulation process
• Assist in creating, solving, post processing, and documenting fluids (CFD) simulations of proposed product designs
• Contribute to documented best practices to guide users in the application of simulation methods
• Participate in the continuous improvement of simulation specific technologies and processes
• Communicate with team members to maintain efficient flow of work through the group
