About The Position

This position is part of the Simulated Health Center under the School of Nursing and Health Innovations (SONHI) and works under the direction of simulation faculty. This position participates in multiple on-campus settings, portraying patients, caregivers, family members and other key characters in support of on-campus clinical simulations and exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Provide acting talent services to the Simulated Health Center in the School of Nursing and Health Innovations (SONHI).
  • Under the direction of SONHI simulation faculty, portray simulated characters in a manner that supports learning objectives in various scenes, scenarios and exercises.
  • Receive feedback from simulation faculty and alter character portrayal as directed.
  • Engage in training and rehearsals as scheduled.
  • Adhere to school guidelines and University policies.
  • Other duties as relevant to the duties of the position or as assigned by supervisor or designee.
