About The Position

The EMS Supervisor at Silver Dollar City is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and employees by providing emergency medical care and overseeing its delivery according to established protocols. This role also involves supporting occupational health programs to maintain high safety standards across the properties, leveraging the expertise of a diverse team.

Requirements

• Must possess a current Missouri Paramedic license or RN with ER experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience as a Paramedic or RN.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to quickly learn and master new software applications.
• Valid Missouri class E driver's license or commercial equivalent required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Preferred experience in previous occupational training or management roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate and effective emergency medical care to guests and employees.
• Train employees on emergency response procedures.
• Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury and determine appropriate protocols.
• Establish the need for outside medical resources, such as ambulances or physicians, when necessary.
• Supervise the daily operation of EMS services at all OMC properties.
• Coordinate and oversee EMS and Occupational Health programs, including EMRA Licensing and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
• Manage EMS resources, including scheduling and inventory control.
• Provide proficiency training and coaching to team members.
• Stay current on department and industry guidelines and maintain compliance with standards.
• Prepare required reports and maintain accurate records of activities and patient contacts.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleanliness tasks for First Aid vehicles and resources.
• Greet and direct guests and employees effectively through various communication methods.
• Adapt to working in all weather conditions and handle priority changes during emergencies.
