Summary This position reports to the Cutting/Silkscreen Supervisor and is responsible for all operations within the Silkscreen department to meet daily production goals. Essential Functions Load cut pieces onto the screen printing press, if possible, stacking pieces on a one-color press. Check with stacker for any recuts, inform supervisor or assistant of any recut requirements. Glue pallets as the unloader removes the last ten printed pieces. Adjust the flash cure units for different fabrics and dwell times. Alternate stations with the unloader. Align the lasers according to the locations on the top lay markers. Load pieces to powder pallets. Load/unload production run. Man controls and assist unloader for final adjustments. Inspect and unload printed pieces from the press and place onto the dryer. Load scraps on the pallets according to line up of the screens for next job. Help reglue pallets as necessary. Powder pallets as the loader aligns the pieces. Keep press running throughout run, informing the supervisor or assistant to scrape/add ink and glue if necessary. Stack pieces as they come off dryer, inspect for flaws, holes, misprints and curing. Monitor dryer settings and adjust for next job.
