CMarrero Signs And More is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Silkscreen Instructor to join our team at the Department of Youth Services in Springfield and Taunton Facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring youth and young adults, sharing their skills and passion for silkscreen printing. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about silkscreen to provide training while managing a small shop. Our organization employs youth to work as a team to fulfill custom orders for the public, allowing them to gain workplace skills, build self-confidence, and set goals for success in transitioning into mainstream employment. As a Silkscreen Instructor, you will provide direct silkscreen training and mentor youth in developing a good work ethic. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans that align with silkscreening. The role involves providing one-on-one and group instruction to students, offering guidance and support as needed. You will also manage order fulfillment and communicate with the Program Manager to ensure order quality and timeliness. Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and incorporate relevant industry insights into your training practices while working closely with facility staff to ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
