Meta is seeking an experienced Silicon Packaging Engineer to join its Ecosystem and Technical Operation team. This role is pivotal in a highly multi-tasked, fast-paced, and cross-functional engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware development and integration of machine learning clusters, both server and fabric. Familiarity with AI/HPC hardware development is essential, as is a data-driven approach focused on creating impactful solutions as part of a world-class engineering team. The Meta Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, building, bringing up, testing, and integrating hardware systems that power Meta's platforms, which are deployed in data centers worldwide, from silicon to sheet metal. Designs are published through the Open Compute Project Foundation. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of some of the world's most open and efficient machine learning platforms. The team is building a competency in packaging design and technology to support the development of custom silicons for infrastructure hardware and to create packaging solutions that optimize performance for AI/ML products at the system level.
