About The Position

In this role, you will build High Quality Manufacturing data infrastructure used to ramp silicon products into High Volume Manufacturing. It entails in-depth understanding of data collected across the manufacturing flow from foundry through finished SOC’s into the warehouse. Experience in datacenter telemetry and health data as pertaining to the SOC’s is also needed. You will be building a comprehensive data decision system that will enable the engineering, operations and supply chain teams to identify problems and corrective action scenarios. This will enable real time data view, reporting and indicators to guide the execution teams by integrating data across multiple foundry’s and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT’s) cover FAB metrology, assembly metrology, CP/FT/SLT performance metrics, equipment utilization and cycle time tracking performance to target. The system is expected to scale to incorporate AI/ML model applications to drive cycle time, cost and quality improvements. Your team selects and manages the suppliers who provide us foundry, wafer probe, assembly and final test capabilities to manufacture google cloud SOC’s. You will be required to create the end-to-end silicon manufacturing infrastructure solutions, focusing on the manufacturing of complex HPC compute and AI SOC’s. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in SoC manufacturing development and production ramp.
  • Experience with data types and data systems across foundry, OSAT’s, equipment and turnkey chip suppliers.
  • Experience working with semiconductor fabrication technologies, yield analysis, process life-cycles and managing cost and quality initiatives in production.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, related degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in wafer probe card, ATE hardware, and managing suppliers on execution of test hardware development and bring-up at OSAT’s.
  • Experience across all test insertions from chip probe to final test/SLT to finished goods.
  • Experience in foundry and OSAT operation management including managing yield improvements, diagnosing/resolving equipment related yield losses, test flow/insertion optimizations.
  • Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) to proactively identify problem areas, quality or cost in the manufacturing flow.

Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and deploy data decision systems needed for SoC products high volume manufacturing operations across foundry, Chip Probe, Assembly, Burn In, Final test, System level Test to drive proactive problem identification and solutions to ensure on time SOC delivery at high quality.
  • Use product and manufacturing line data to drive improvements into supply planning (versus demand) forecasts to drive readiness across the manufacturing supply chain.
  • Create real time data views, reporting and indicators to enable the execution teams. Do this by creating necessary performance to metrics across yield, test time, cycle time, DPPM and utilization across the manufacturing flow.
  • Utilize AI/ML models and data analysis tools to identify trends that may impact product delivery schedules, quantity/quality, and recommend corrective actions.
