The Signals Software Engineer will specialize in tools, techniques, systems, and procedures for developing software or analytic tools for wired or wireless transmission of signaling data. The role involves applying leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. The engineer will work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions, operating with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Additionally, the engineer will mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

  • Specialize in tools, techniques, systems, and procedures for developing software or analytic tools for signaling data transmission.
  • Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to develop new principles and concepts.
  • Work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Mentor or supervise employees in technical competencies.
  • 3+ years of experience with software development languages, including Python, C, or C++.
  • 2+ years of experience with machine learning packages and building/testing neural network architectures using Tensorflow, Keras, or PyTorch.
  • Experience using Agile processes and tools, including Jira or Confluence.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to brainstorm and innovate new ideas.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering field.
  • Experience with signal processing, digital signal processing algorithms, or firmware development languages such as VHDL, Verilog, or CoreFire.
  • Experience with RF testing.
  • Experience with RF engineering.
  • Experience using version control, including GitHub.
