About the position

The Signals Intelligence/Link16 Data Analyst position at KBR involves providing analytical support and solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) through the Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) Big Data and Knowledge Management systems. The role requires interfacing with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze DoD datasets, and present findings, while also ensuring the effective operation of analytical tools. The successful candidate will work both on-site and remotely, contributing to the modernization of defense systems and enhancing national security.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote analytic support for DoD testing ranges and labs.
  • Integrate and run various software and tools for data-driven analysis.
  • Interface with end users to gather and document requirements and analytical needs.
  • Design and implement enhancements to tools and reports based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Present analysis results to stakeholders and VIPs.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions for end users and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Gather use cases and feature requests for the CHEETAS development team.

Requirements

  • Active or current Secret Clearance required; Top Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, math, statistics, or information technology.
  • 5-10 years of experience within DoD; entry-level candidates will not be considered.
  • 3 years of experience with Link16 analytics required.
  • Experience with end users, gathering requirements, and operating data analysis tools.
  • Experience with DoD specific data types and analytics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using analytic languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with analytic software tools like JupyterLab, Grafana, or Tableau.
  • Experience as an Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA).
  • Knowledge of military force structure and tactical messaging.
  • Experience with major DoD acquisition programs.
