About The Position

SAIC, a leading provider of systems engineering & integration, systems development & deployment, intelligence analysis and targeting, and training solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professionals to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance. SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Signals Analyst to join our team of professionals providing database analytic support to propel the organization forward in Georgia. The Signals (SIGINT) Analyst will extract, analyze, and identify foreign activity and communication that come from electromagnetic emissions. They will identify patterns, trends, and potential threats utilizing specialized software and equipment that can inform strategic planning. The SIGINT Analyst will compile those findings into intelligence reports and briefs to leadership to ensure alignment with the mission.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science and 5 years of technical experience of analysis, processing, collection, and reporting experience or 10 years of experience with no degree.
  • Bit-level analytic experience.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and applications of communication theory to include signal processing, decision theory, estimation theory, modulation-demodulation, multiplexing, forward error-correction, and randomizers.
  • Experience with data processing using mapping tools, algorithms, intelligence reports, and display tools.
  • Experience with communication devices, technology, characteristics, components, functions, capabilities, and operations, to include high-powered cordless phones, digital and analog push-to-talk, cellular phones, satellite phones, and VSATs.
  • Knowledge of intermediate digital signals processing related to digitizing analog signals, deinterleaving, digitization, signal-to-noise ratio, filtering, and Doppler corrections.
  • Ability to identify standard and non-standard formats and protocols in RF COMEXT data (e.g., packetized data, proprietary data or data masking).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Combined Emitter Database (CED).

Responsibilities

  • Perform data manipulation and tagging to support extended collaboration, information sharing, and the FMS program.
  • Perform technical reference file training to a worldwide user base.
  • Assist in testing and evaluation of CED functions.
  • Perform quality control of the databases for all current and legacy systems.
  • Perform data sanitization, dissemination, and distribution of technical reports.
