About The Position

FASTSIGNS #222701 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team! The role involves following layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrates, preparing substrates for vinyl application, and performing quality assurance measures. The Sign Production Specialist will also operate and maintain printers, perform finishing operations, and manage inventory levels.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Ability to use light power equipment

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered
• Clean and maintain storage areas
