About The Position

FASTSIGNS #69908 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist / Graphic Designer to join our team! Benefits/Perks: Competitive Pay Paid Vacation and Holiday Performance Bonus Ongoing Training Opportunities A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will: PRODUCTION: Graphic Application : Follow layouts to apply computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphics to specified substrates. Substrate Preparation : Prepare surfaces for vinyl application by cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning. Vinyl Weeding : Remove excess vinyl from cut images, adjusting techniques for different sizes, types, and complexities. Printer Operation : Operate and maintain printers. Quality Assurance : Conduct pre- and post-production quality checks by interpreting work orders and proofing for errors. Finishing : Laminate and mount printed materials as needed. Inventory Management : Report inventory levels and reorder needs to the manager. Storage Maintenance : Clean and upkeep storage areas. GRAPHIC DESIGN: Create Graphics and Outputs : Design and produce full-color graphics or vinyl products that can be printed, mounted, or applied to substrates. Complete/Modify Designs : Work with customer drawings and files to complete or modify designs for media output. Design Layouts : Arrange the size and position of images and text, choose styles and fonts, and create layouts based on space, design aesthetics, and production needs. Quality Control : Verify job accuracy before output. Ensure material and device settings are correct for each job. Manage Logo Library : Maintain and convert customer logo files as needed. Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist / Graphic Designer: 1-2 years of experience in sign production or graphic design preferred High school diploma or equivalent Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more) Ability to lift 50 or more pounds Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work Do you enjoy working with people? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
  • Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience in sign production or graphic design preferred
