About The Position

Cab Signs is looking for a Sign Maker with a graphics background and sign manufacturing experience to join our team. This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for both graphic design work and sign production. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are looking for a role with growth potential, we want to hear from you! The role will be 30 hours and ideally has a schedule of every day Monday - Friday 9 AM - 2:30 PM. There may be opportunities for more hours.

Requirements

• Proficiency in vector-based design software (Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail—custom work requires accuracy, and mistakes can be costly
• A strong work ethic—we need a dedicated and reliable team member
• Ability to work independently and take initiative once fully trained
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design & File Setup : Create artwork and set up customer files for production. Correct and modify customer-provided files to ensure compatibility. Prepare files for various equipment, including lasers and printers. Work with vector files—experience with Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW required
• Sign Manufacturing: Operate and maintain equipment such as: UV Flatbed Printer, Vinyl Printer/Plotter, Closed CO₂ Laser, Rotary Engraver. Produce high-quality custom signs, ensuring accuracy and precision. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
