Position Summary: Assemblers are responsible for the gathering and assembly of job components, including wiring, into the finished product and then are prepared for crating or packing in boxes. Knowledge of electrical wiring, and ability to distinguish colored wiring. Ability to safely operate power and small hand tools. Ability to use a tape measure. Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane. Proficient in basic math. Good manual dexterity. Requirements Minimum Education and Qualifications: High school diploma/GED Ability to stand and walk in approximately a 200 ft. radius for 8-10 hours/day. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50-80lbs. Ability to use correct body posture. Ability to maintain correct postures while reaching, bending, crouching, kneeling, and twisting. Ability to reach horizontally across a work surface beyond 12” from the body up to full body extension. Concentration of study in mechanical arts classes a plus.
