We are always looking for inspired — and inspiring — people to join us. We are looking to add an apprentice to our team in Bloomington, MN. You will have a unique experience and be exposed to several production departments and installation. Position Summary (training progression provided): Assist in Production: Prepare materials for sign production, including cutting, measuring, and assembling components. Apply vinyl graphics and digital prints to various substrates. Operate sign-making equipment such as plotters, printers, and laminators. Support Installation: Assist with the installation of signs at various locations, ensuring they are securely and correctly mounted. Help load and unload materials and tools required for installation jobs. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintenance and Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies. Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn industry standards, techniques, and safety practices. Shadow experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge and skills. Stay updated with new technologies and methods in the sign-making industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

Vocational training or coursework in graphic design, industrial arts, or a related field is a plus.
Basic understanding of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) is desirable.
