About The Position

A SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) Senior Instructor/Trainer is a highly experienced professional responsible for providing advanced training and instruction on SIGINT methodologies, techniques, and equipment. They possess a deep understanding of SIGINT operations and technologies, and their role is to train and mentor junior instructors and trainees. They design and develop training programs, curricula, and instructional materials to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge and skills. The SIGINT Senior Instructor/Trainer may also provide subject matter expertise and guidance in the development and evaluation of SIGINT equipment and capabilities. Their expertise and leadership contribute to the continuous improvement of SIGINT training programs and the proficiency of personnel in the field of intelligence gathering and analysis.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Minimum 12 years of Army Military Intelligence experience and experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience as a 35N, 352N; 3+ years tactical and 3+ years operational experience as an intelligence professional spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons.
  • Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the SIGINT Senior Instructor activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction, instructional assistance, and appropriate scenario development support for intelligence personnel, teams, and units in support of SIGINT.
  • Develop and revise SIGINT TSPs and familiarization and sustainment training, including individual to collective training materials and scenarios.
