About The Position

As an Insulation Installer at Sierra Insulation, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials such as fiberglass or rock wool batts in various settings, including exterior walls and ceilings. This role involves physical labor and requires adherence to safety protocols while working in diverse environments, including attics and crawlspaces. Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to use hand tools
• Entry-level experience in insulation installation is a plus
• Ability to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Installation experience
• Comfortable using standard hand tools

Responsibilities

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck
• Erecting scaffolding or ladders to the height needed
• Cutting insulation materials to size and installing them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
• Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
• Driving a company vehicle while following all driving rules and DOT requirements
• Maintaining tools and the truck
• Observing job site safety rules and knowing the location of the MSDS packets in the vehicle
