About The Position

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking Siemens Blade Repair Technicians – Level C to support structural blade repair scopes across Siemens Gamesa wind projects. This role is focused on comprehensive structural repairs, including laminate restoration and damage that extends beyond surface-level erosion. Level C technicians play a critical role in maintaining blade integrity and performance and are deployed specifically because of their Siemens Gamesa certification and demonstrated structural repair capability.

Requirements

  • Current Siemens Blade Repair Certification – Level C
  • GWO Certifications: Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), Advanced Rescue Training (ART)
  • Ability to maintain required certifications including OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Siemens blade repair certifications
  • Experience performing structural blade repairs on Siemens turbines
  • Proficiency in composite repair techniques including laminate repair, epoxies, adhesives, and reinforcement materials
  • Ability to follow Siemens repair manuals, technical instructions, and quality standards precisely
  • Strong focus on execution quality, safety compliance, and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a structured blade repair team
  • Ability to climb wind turbines 300 feet or more
  • Ability to lift and move materials and tools up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work at height and within blade environments
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions
  • Weight requirement of 120–280 lbs, including clothing, boots, and standard personal protective equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass background check(s) and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Deploy as part of SCR’s Siemens-certified blade repair teams supporting Siemens Gamesa projects
  • Travel 100% on a rotational basis to Siemens blade repair projects across the U.S.
  • Perform structural blade repairs, including laminate repair and restoration beyond surface erosion
  • Execute Siemens–approved repair procedures for mid- to high-severity blade damage
  • Prepare repair areas, perform composite layups, and complete structural restorations per Siemens standards
  • Support inspection, assessment, and documentation of blade damage and completed repairs
  • Adhere strictly to Siemens’ quality, safety, and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with Level D technicians and supervisors on complex repair scopes
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in accordance with SCR and Siemens requirements
  • Complete all required technical reports and service documentation accurately and on time
