About The Position

As Siemens Advanta Region Head - NAM, you will be responsible for the relationships with all Customers and Partners based in North America for Siemens Advanta. You are part of the Siemens Advanta leadership team with full P&L responsibility for your Region. You will implement the Siemens Advanta strategy, drive customer value, innovation, and speed, and contribute to the growth of both Siemens and Siemens Advanta. You will manage a newly expanded team in a high priority Region for Siemens' growth. You will build adequate competencies to fulfill customer demand within your Region, in-line with the global governance and processes set by global teams in People & Organization as well as Strategy & Operations. You will be accountable to break down your Region targets into Sub-Region, Vertical and Account targets. You will be in close alignment with the Siemens Lead Country CEO to ensure the interlock of Siemens and Siemens Advanta account strategies and plans within your Region. This role requires a strategic business leader with a proven track record of delivering business impact and achieving business targets.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in areas of priority growth for Siemens, including engineering, manufacturing and supply chain optimization.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in professional services selling and/or delivery roles, including customer engagement, account management, and business development in a global professional services organization, with at least five years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, capability development, and customer satisfaction in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Past success in building a services business in a product company is preferred.
  • Experience building and leading high performing diverse and distributed teams.
  • Value driven personality with a track record of developing organizational leaders, building a positive culture, creating followers across the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with Board and C-level Customer executives and to build strong professional networks and relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of sales processes, demand forecasting, various international commercial agreement types and terms.
  • Understanding of the Siemens hardware and software portfolio, including IoT architecture, edge devices, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT and AI is a plus.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with Siemens Go-to-market and Sales Functions including Region/ Country leaders, Business Unit leaders, and external partners.
  • Understanding of market, priority vertical industries such as Power Utilities, Consumer Packaged Goods, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Siemens' competition within your Region.
  • More than 5 years' experience in at least one vertical is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, any additional language is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline relevant to the industries in which Siemens operates; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an End-to-End Services Business - Build and manage Consulting and Technology Services Practices to lead customers from business strategy through solution architecture and implementation.
  • Drive Profitable Growth - Own full Siemens Advanta P&L responsibility and ensure profitable revenue growth across the Region in alignment with Siemens Advanta's strategic objectives.
  • Enable Siemens Growth - Align closely with the Siemens Lead Country CEO and Regional Business Unit leaders to interlock account strategies, share goals, and drive Siemens-wide growth within your Region.
  • Deliver Business Value to Customers - Ensure projects in your Region meet quality, time, and budget.
  • Represent Siemens Advanta in the Region - Act as the senior regional representative, strengthening market presence, thought leadership, stakeholder relationships, and strategic positioning.
  • Drive Regional Go-to-Market Execution - Develop and implement regional sales, vertical, and account strategies to expand customer impact and accelerate pipeline conversion.
  • Steer the seller community in your Region, i.e., Sub-Region Heads, Vertical Leads, Customer Partner.
  • Offer repeatable Siemens Advanta Portfolio - Ensure relevant Siemens Advanta Portfolio offerings are deployed in your Region.
  • Shape Regional Partnering Strategy - Build and execute a regional partnering approach to enable partners, extend delivery capabilities and enhance Siemens' Xcelerator Partner ecosystem.
  • Optimize Capability and Capacity Development - Collaborate with Global Practices, P&O and Strategy & Operations to ensure the right competencies and capacity to meet evolving regional customer demand.
  • Drive Career Development - Develop leaders in your organization and beyond, in-line with global standards set by P&O and Strategy & Operations.
  • Leadership - Collaborate across all of Siemens Advanta to ensure overall success while demonstrating and implementing Siemens Advanta's values and behaviors.
