About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Side Dump Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices and the ability to operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is required.
• Familiarity with side dump and flatbed preferred.
• Ability to load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate side dump truck safely and efficiently to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt.
• Load and unload materials at designated locations, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
• Follow assigned routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
