About The Position

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Shuttle Truck Driver to deliver parts and equipment to other Ziegler branches and parts drops on assigned routes to take care of our customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic to help support our growth. Work scheduled is Monday - Friday, 8pm - 5am.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Class A CDL
Hazmat endorsement (either currently possess one or able to obtain one)
1+ year related experience
Able to lift heavy items (see physical requirements below)
Able to keep vehicle in clean and proper working order
Highly motivated and hard worker
Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
Able to work required shift (8pm - 5am, Monday - Friday)

This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a DOT drug screen and physical as a pre-employment requirement
Push/pull up to 25 lbs
Lift/carry up to 60 lbs
Lift bulky objects
Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, high step

Responsibilities

Uses electronic log books
Follows package tracking procedures when unloading and transferring cargo to ensure accuracy
Works in a cooperative manner with team and superiors
Has positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
Delivers parts into the proper drop boxes in a neat and orderly fashion
Loads, unloads, and secures cargo
Lifts heavy parts & components
Completes Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections
