Job Summary Operates shuttle bus and/or passenger coach-type vehicles. Safely transports passengers to various destinations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Adheres to assignments in accordance with scheduled shuttle routes prepared by the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Dispatcher. Reports to the Supervisor of Transportation (or to a designated individual in the Supervisor's absence). -Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers while en route to/from destinations. Follow established routes and departure times. Communicates with dispatch for guidance on any detours/delays. -Operates vehicles in accordance with Mass General Brigham Fleet Safety Program Policies and Procedures, as well as in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. -Maintains an accurate log documenting the number of passengers, trips completed, mileage, interior/exterior vehicle inspection, and other information that might be requested. -Ensures adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing. -Assists passengers with disabilities and others needing assistance to board and disembark from the vehicle via the wheelchair lift. -Reports any emergencies/concerns with vehicle and/or passengers immediately to the Supervisor and/or Dispatcher.
