Requirements

• Valid drivers’ license and CDL Class B with a passenger endorsement (if the vehicle requires)
• Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card)
• Satisfactory driving record
• Prior bus driving experience (or experience driving a commercial vehicle) preferred
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to use hands and fingers
• Ability to speak, see, and hear
• Ability to reach, push, and pull with arms and hands
• Ability to bend and stoop
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to fuel a large vehicle
• Some walking may be required
• Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to student residents to and from the apartment complex to Campus
• Transport passengers in accordance with a predetermined route
• Obey all rules of the road and safety rules
• Be courteous and helpful to all passengers
• Verify that passengers are residents
• Clean the bus as needed
• Fuel the bus
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Property Manager
• Ability to be around exposure to certain chemicals/fumes (gasoline, etc.)
