About The Position

Shuttle Driver – Part-time Position Highlights: Position: Shuttle Driver Location: Evanston, IL Part-time (20 hours per week) Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm - 6:30pm Required Travel: no What you will do: Safely transport employees and supplies between hospitals, corporate offices and other NorthShore sites Demonstrate friendly and courteous behavior at all times to rider(s), refrain from any activities that may cause discomfort to passengers, and assist riders with boarding Operate hospital-owned vehicles in a safe manner, adhering to all Illinois traffic regulations and NorthShore policies and procedures What you will need: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Certification: A valid Illinois C class CDL driver's license, DOT Medical Card, with passenger endorsement; Must have held a valid driver's license for 3 years prior to the date of application Experience: 6 months of experience driving a passenger van or bus (i.e school bus, shuttle bus, passenger van) Unique or Preferred Skills: A good driving record subject to State driver motor vehicle verification to comply with Hospital insurance requirements Physical Requirements: Able to meet the physical requirements of this position including lifting/pushing/pulling 20 to 60 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • A valid Illinois C class CDL driver's license, DOT Medical Card, with passenger endorsement
  • Must have held a valid driver's license for 3 years prior to the date of application
  • 6 months of experience driving a passenger van or bus (i.e school bus, shuttle bus, passenger van)
