About The Position

Objective: Organize and transport customer items and supplies to and from all Ziker retail stores and the production facility in a timely and efficient manner. Build, foster, and feed into a culture of positivity, service to others, and authentic relationships with customers and coworkers. Essential Functions: Driving & Delivery: Develop a deep understanding of designated routes, and safely operate a company vehicle while navigating local roadways. Always adhere to all traffic laws. Scan, lift, carry, and load completed orders into the delivery van. Follow a pre-determined route to transport all customer items between retail stores and the production facility. Coordinate with colleagues at each location to ensure successful delivery of all customer items/orders, paperwork, cash exchanges, and other miscellaneous supplies. Unload laundry bags from the delivery van at the production facility. Vehicle Upkeep: Conduct daily maintenance checks of the vehicle and report any issues to the Production Manager immediately. Clean the vehicle weekly and complete a weekly vehicle maintenance and mileage report. Time Management: Manage your daily routes and workload in an efficient manner to ensure on time deliveries. Bank Runs & Cash Exchange: Coordinate with colleagues at each retail store to identify their cash and change needs and make appropriate cash exchanges at local banks along the route. Be personally responsible for assigned petty cash bag and use only to provide change to stores. Count and balance petty cash and report any discrepancies. Common Area Cleaning: All employees will periodically be tasked with cleaning the common areas of the production facility. This includes the breakroom and bathrooms, as well as the production floor. Immediately clean up any mess you make and be sure to restock any general use items that you empty (i.e., toilet paper, soap, etc.) Label and dispose of your personal food items as necessary and keep all other personal items in your locker during a shift. Requirements

  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Acceptable insurability rating as determined by Motor Vehicle Record (reviewed at least annually)
  • Determined medically able to perform job duties by physical examination (renewed at least every 5 years unless recommended otherwise by the physician).

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working in delivery driving role.
