As a part of our Hospitality and Valet Team, you are the first and last impression for patients and guests during their hospital visit, which allows us to make a huge impact! In the Traffic Control / Shuttle position, you will be the embodiment of customer service. Welcoming the patients & guests as they board your shuttle, safely transporting them along your route, and assisting with unloading/loading of their vehicles are just a few of the ways you and your team will help elevate the patient experience! Requirements

  • Over the age of 18 years old
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Must have at least 1 year of strong in-person customer service experience
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment for your entire shift
  • Possess a valid active in-state regular driver's license (No Permits or Probationary License)
  • Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
  • Work with professionalism, integrity, and compassion, supporting your team, and together represent Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet, and continuously learn new software that may be applied to daily tasks
  • Move with urgency and speed to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, paying attention to surroundings and details
  • Work in a standing position for hours at a time in an outdoor environment
  • Safely and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Speak, read, and write Standard English
  • Effectively build relationships with your team and others in a professional manner
  • Strong ability to perform at a high level of customer service in a physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to walk, stand, push, and pull items while showing empathy and professionalism in the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a consistently warm, friendly demeanor.
  • Drive a Golf Cart Shuttle along a planned route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
  • Assists patients, visitors, and hospital staff on and off the shuttle when as needed.
  • Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or necessary information pertaining to the shuttle, always keeping shuttles neat and tidy.
  • Observe and practice all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Reports any mechanical issues with the golf cart such as brakes, steering, or other issues.
  • Daily use of apps/technology to maintain operational efficiency and logistics
  • Assist individuals with mobility challenges, offering wheelchair and escort services as needed.
  • Efficiently manage parking logistics adhering to all site requirements and abiding by all traffic laws.
  • Provide accurate directions and helpful information about the hospital facilities.
  • Effectively build relationships with hospital staff, patients, guests, and team
  • Actively maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • This role will require continuous physical engagement in an outdoor environment that at times may include being exposed to harsh elements including severe heat, cold weather, rain, sleet, snow, and other inclement weather
  • Physical involvement may include walking, standing, pushing, and pulling of various luggage/belongings in and out of a patient’s vehicle, all while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
