About The Position
We are hiring immediately for full time and part time SHUTTLE DRIVER positions. Address : Ascension Sacred Heart - 5151 North Ninth Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504. Note: online applications accepted only . Schedule : Full time and part time schedules; days may vary, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, and 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. More details upon interview. Requirement : Prior ability to operate GVWR 9,350-12,500 lbs is required. Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour. Job Summary Summary: This individual will provide transportation services to passengers by driving a van/shuttle within a designated area for a client. They will be expected to professionally interact and communicate with all passengers while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
- 1 -2 years relevant customer service or driving experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changes quickly
- Prior ability to operate GVWR 9,350-12,500 lbs is required
Responsibilities
- Safely transports passengers along designated routes as arranged by schedule or dispatch
- Reviews and submits vehicle work tickets when required
- Cleans vehicles daily and performs basic maintenance functions (fills gas, adds fluids, etc.) as needed
- Responds to emergency needs as dictated by road conditions, vehicle situations, traffic conditions or environmental situations
- Provides overall support and customer service to all facets of the operation
- Provides feedback to management on how services may be improved
- Performs other duties as assigned
