About The Position

This position requires individuals to transport product between locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of stock materials. This role involves operating a box truck and assisting with loading/unloading. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license, comply with all the state and company safety regulations, and possess the physical ability to load and unload product at all delivery destinations and fill outgoing orders. There are many physical demands for this position.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Stock Transportation: Shuttle stock and materials between assigned locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading stock at each destination, ensuring that products are labeled and organized correctly.
• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a box truck, following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules, adjusting to traffic or other conditions as needed.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily maintenance checks (fueling, cleaning, and inspecting for damage), and report any vehicle issues.
• Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and team members; maintain professional interactions with all personnel.
• Reporting: Promptly report any accidents, vehicle issues, or delivery discrepancies.
• Other Duties: Assist with stock management and other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
