Non-CDL Shuttle Driver

About The Position

We are seeking shuttle drivers to work at a medical facility in Fort Pierce, FL. These are steady, local routes at a local Hospital. We operate newer 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL. Note, this position may be a small shuttle bus, or possibly a golf cart tram-type shuttle We expect to have both FT and PT roles. We will need drivers for mornings, evenings, and weekends. Please be clear on your application as to your availability. The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

License required: valid class E (Non-CDL) license in good standing
A valid DOT Medical card is also required.
Due to insurance regulations, Shuttle Drivers must be 20 years old, and have been licensed in good standing for at least 3 years.
Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.

Professional driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
Opening and closing doors for patrons
Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
Recording passenger counts and trip times
Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)
Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
Filling in as a lot attendant when needed
Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
