About The Position

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and timely transportation for resort guests and team members while delivering exceptional guest service consistent with Omni Hotels & Resorts standards. This role serves as an ambassador of the resort by creating a welcoming and professional first and last impression.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate passenger vans or small buses safely.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift luggage up to approximately 50 lbs.
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous hospitality or transportation experience.
Knowledge of Hilton Head Island roads, attractions, and local area.
CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Safely operate resort shuttle vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Transport guests to and from designated resort areas, nearby attractions, and approved local destinations.
Assist guests with luggage, mobility needs, and general directions.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of shuttle vehicles at all times.
Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly, professional conversation.
Provide accurate information about resort amenities, dining, activities, and local attractions.
Handle guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when appropriate.
Deliver service that aligns with Omni’s luxury hospitality standards.
Follow assigned shuttle routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions.
Communicate effectively with front desk, bell services, and management via radio or phone.
Assist with additional guest service duties as needed during slow transportation periods.
Maintain proper logs, incident reports, and daily checklists.
