Under general supervision, Shuttle Drivers perform various tasks related to the transport of passengers in a multi-passenger shuttle bus in a safe, courteous and efficient manner. The role involves creating an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Tejon their choice for gaming entertainment, actively building and retaining guest relations to provide superior guest service. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for providing extraordinary guest service, positively affecting interactions with customers and team members, and dealing with difficult customers in various business conditions while working harmoniously with coworkers.

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Tejon their choice for gaming entertainment.
  • Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Provides extraordinary guest service and positively affects interactions with customers and team members.
  • Assists customers with special needs upon request, in compliance with Hard Rock’s policies and procedures.
  • Assists passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including loading and unloading luggage and other items as needed.
  • Maintains the shuttle in a clean, neat manner.
  • Inspects the shuttle before every shift and reports any safety concerns or damage immediately.
  • Follows specific scheduled routes and coordinates routes with other drivers or team lead.
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies supervisor of any potential problems.
  • Communicates well with fellow employees to meet client needs.
  • Must be able to communicate by phone, two-way radio, and in person in clear fluent English in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two months of on-the-job training and/or related driving experience.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Department of Motor Vehicles report with no careless motor vehicle accidents and no moving violations within the last three years.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous, organized and accurate.
  • Extreme confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and applications.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple details and tasks concurrently in a changing environment.
  • Ability to analyze and think about how possible solutions impact the entire operation.
