About The Position

The Shuttle Driver Lead plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the transportation department, with responsibilities spanning guest service, safety, training, and administrative tasks. This position oversees the shuttle fleet, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and records are accurately kept. In addition to lead duties, the Shuttle Driver Lead actively transports resort guests throughout the town of Breckenridge, delivering safe, timely, and courteous service. This role requires excellent, a clean driving record, and the ability to work flexible hours. Housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on position. Full- and part-time, seasonal and year-round positions available. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Position range $25.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE

Requirements

  • Valid CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record - required
  • 1+ years shuttle driving experience – required
  • 1+ years experience hotel or resort experience – required
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken language – required
  • Physical ability to assist with luggage and perform light maintenance tasks - required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure shuttles are clean, fueled, properly equipped, and safe for operation.
  • Report vehicle issues promptly and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventative service.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, including vehicle mileage, maintenance logs, fuel usage, and driver reports.
  • Assist with route planning, schedule optimization, and efficiency improvements to enhance the guest experience.
  • Oversee readiness of vehicles during weather-related challenges (snow/ice) and ensure compliance with traction and safety requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of guest service by modeling professional, friendly, and helpful interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Assist management in developing policies, procedures, and training materials for shuttle operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying operational challenges and recommending solutions.
  • Create, implement and track staff training.
  • Provide transportation for guests around Breckenridge, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience.
