About The Position

As a Shuttle Driver at our hotel, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from the hotel. Your role will involve greeting passengers cheerfully, assisting with baggage loading and unloading, and ensuring the vehicle is operated safely. You will communicate with dispatchers and other employees using a two-way radio system, conduct pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses, monitor traffic and weather conditions, and report any accidents or safety situations. Customer service is key, and you will treat all customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with passenger endorsement or CDL.
  • Minimum of two years licensed driving experience.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical exam.
  • Experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Valet parking experience: 1 year+.
  • Customer service experience: 1 year+.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses.
  • Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch of potential problems.
  • Report accidents or safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  • Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
