About The Position

Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our transportation team. The Shuttle Driver will safely and efficiently transport trailers between distribution centers and yards. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate a vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions. Drivers are home daily and will use state-of-the-art equipment, tools, and technology.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a favorable driving record and doubles endorsement.
• Must have a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
• Must have verifiable employment or explanation for unemployment for the last 10 years.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and must provide electronic consent.
• Must be highly dependable, trustworthy and honest.
• Requires strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer minimum 1 year driving experience.
