About The Position

The Shuttle Driver will operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently. The primary purpose of this position is to safely transport owners and guests to specific regularly scheduled routes. This position will promote Resort Standards and effectively provide services personally or refer requests to the appropriate department manager as needed to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

• Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) in the state you are applying with a proven clean driving record.
• One year driving experience in all types of passenger vehicles including manual shift.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give high priority to customer service.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Follow specific regularly scheduled routes, charter routes or respond to requests from dispatch or management for unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
• Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Load and unload luggage, packages and other items.
• Transmit and receive over two-way radio system.
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch of potential problems.
• Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch.
• Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift.
• Learn and provide guests and passengers with appropriate information regarding lodging, entertainment and attractions within service area.
