About The Position

Shuttle Bus Driver The role of Charter Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers on charter trips, tours, and special events while delivering a high level of customer service. This position operates motorcoaches for a variety of clients including schools, organizations, and private groups. The Charter Driver ensures safety, reliability, and professionalism while representing the company on the road and at customer locations.

Requirements

Valid CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement required
Acceptable driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Effective verbal communication skills
Ability to manage time, routes, and schedules independently
Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Assist passengers during boarding and disembarking.
Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the route.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
