About The Position

Akima Facilities Operations is looking for a Shuttle Bus Driver to work in Fort Hood, TX. The Shuttle Bus Driver will be responsible for transporting clients, trainees, or company personnel to various destinations according to an assigned schedule. This role includes assisting disabled passengers, operating communication devices, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and service.

Requirements

• 4+ years driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• High School Diploma / Equivalent.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation.

Nice To Haves

• U.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drives minibus or van to transport clients, trainees, or company personnel.
• Drives vehicle from individual or central loading area to social services or rehabilitation center, training location, job site, or other destination according to assigned schedule.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle and secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Cleans and/or services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Keeps records of trips and/or behavior of passengers.
• Performs other duties when not driving, such as custodial and building maintenance tasks.

Benefits

• $17.75 / Hourly.
