About The Position
The Individual must like working with people, confident, upbeat, positive, action-oriented and customer service oriented. Applicants will work as part of a team that is responsible for the daily operation of the shuffleboard courts. Requirements
- A responsible high school student or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Monitors the use of shuffleboard courts and equipment
- Organizes and maintains the cleanliness of the shuffleboard equipment and facilities
- Assists with special events and tournaments
- Sales of concessions i.e. water and soda
- Assists Lakeside Chautauqua guests with various shuffleboard related tasks
- Provides a safe atmosphere for all guests and employees
- Ensures customer relations and satisfaction are of highest priority
- Update and manage “Downtime Duties” checklist
- Other duties as assigned by Shuffleboard Coordinator and Director of Recreation.
Benefits
- Employees are eligible for a season pass provided they work a minimum of 24 hours per week during the season; employees receiving Lakeside provided housing are required to work a minimum of 32 hours per week. Season passes are for employment use only and must be returned on the employee’s last day of employment.
