About The Position

The Senior Contract Analyst at Sparrow Health System is responsible for managing the contract review and tracking system for University of Michigan Health-Sparrow. This role involves preparing, examining, analyzing, amending, and processing contracts, while also supporting the Regional Office of General Counsel team with various contract-related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal, Business, or a related field.
• Paralegal and/or contract management experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts within the Contract Lifecycle Management System, ensuring detailed and organized audit files for each contract.
• Develop and maintain expert-level proficiency in the Contract Lifecycle Management System to manage contracts and produce reports.
• Audit data entered into the Contract Lifecycle Management System by other users.
• Educate users on how to properly upload contracts and enter data into the system.
• Draft, review, edit, and negotiate contracts using approved templates.
• Respond to questions regarding the contracting process from business owners and conduct training sessions.
• Maintain contract management forms and educational materials as applicable.
• Compile frequently asked questions and maintain documentation on the UMH-Sparrow intranet.
• Complete ad-hoc special projects as assigned.
• Identify and implement approved process improvements in reporting analysis and system capabilities.
• Maintain current knowledge of department processes and participate in committees and task forces.
