This position also performs limited housekeeping functions including sweeping, emptying trash, vacuuming, dusting, and organizing supplies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Adheres to and demonstrates Assets, Inc. core values, mission, policies, and compliance plan in the performance of all aspects of this position. Ability to be alert, accurate, and attentive while performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to use a shredder effectively. Completes disassembling of materials for shredding and shredding. Ties bags, vacuums, and loads full bags of shredded paper into trucks. Performs housekeeping duties as directed. Completes company required training and participates in meetings as directed. Occasionally assists with bindery and/or scanning as directed. Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel. Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: No prior experience, training, or minimal education required Six (6) months of prior office employment or related experience is strongly preferred. Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with standardized situations with simple one or two steps instruction is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to pass a criminal background check under state regulations. Other Skills and Abilities Requires the ability to work in a professional manner with other department personnel. Willing to do routine work. Must demonstrate good hygiene, professional dress, appropriate customer service skills, as well as the ability to follow directions and receive supervision from more than one supervisor.
