The San Francisco Showroom is the heartbeat of our West Coast business, partnering daily with our Maine workshop to delight clients from Washington to San Diego. To accelerate our next chapter of growth, we’re adding a full-time Showroom Sales Associate to our small, high-impact team. Why This Role Matters You’ll be the right hand to the Showroom Manager, helping us elevate every touchpoint—on the showroom floor, over the phone, and through our live-chat platform. Your leadership will translate foot traffic and digital inquiries into lifelong client relationships, driving revenue while upholding the craftsmanship and integrity that define Thos. Moser.

Requirements

  • Retail Experience – Minimum one year in retail, showroom, or hospitality, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Sales Excellence – A record of driving growth, beating targets, and building repeat business.
  • Client-Centric Mind-set – Natural rapport with discerning, design-savvy clientele; poised communication in person, on the phone, and online chat.
  • Digital Agility – Proficiency with MS Office and CRM (HubSpot preferred); ability to juggle multiple platforms with ease.
  • Operational Rigor – Organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable prioritizing in a fast-moving, luxury environment.
  • Passion for Design – Appreciation for fine woodworking; background in furniture, interiors, or the design trade is a plus.
  • Schedule Flexibility – Full-time availability, including weekends (no evenings required).

Responsibilities

  • Champion Omnichannel Sales
  • Engage walk-in guests, incoming phone callers, and live-chat visitors with equal enthusiasm, guiding each through discovery, selection, and post-delivery follow-up.
  • Convert leads across residential, A&D, and B2B channels; maintain an active pipeline and hit or exceed monthly KPIs.
  • Deliver Expert Consultation
  • Master the full Thos. Moser portfolio—materials, finishes, customization options, and sustainability story—to craft tailored proposals for clients and designers.
  • Assist with Daily Operations
  • Assist with opening/closing, inventory integrity, visual standards, and facility care to ensure a welcoming, brand-right environment.
  • Own the Client Journey
  • Generate quotes, enter orders, track production, and orchestrate white-glove delivery, ensuring every promise is met.
  • Proactively resolve service issues with empathy and speed.
  • Elevate the Brand
  • Uphold showroom merchandising to brand standards; support local events, product launches, and outreach that amplify our presence on the West Coast.
