About the position

The Showroom Representative plays a crucial role in supporting customer satisfaction and the overall performance objectives of the branch office. This position involves coordinating inside selling and office procedures, ensuring timely follow-up on customer requests, and collaborating with Sales Representatives to achieve performance goals related to customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the Showroom and over the phone.
• Convert In-Store, Phone-In, or Website contacts into appointments for outside sales representatives.
• Manage the accurate and timely input of information into customer account management software.
• Develop extensive product and process knowledge, including navigation of the Pella quoting system.
• Convert customer requests into quotes and accurate proposals/contracts through the Pella quoting system.
• Communicate customer product service needs to the customer service team promptly.
• Assist in the training and development of new employees.
• Participate in promotional events to increase sales.
• Manage mailings, filing, software updates, office supplies, and promotional literature inventories.
• Support all business segments within the Showroom proactively.
• Promote and generate Google reviews.
• Facilitate appointments for outside Representatives in the Showroom.
• Maintain a clean and professional office environment through Showroom housekeeping activities.
• Exhibit high standards of personal ethics and adhere to all company policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work at the Showroom location Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, and a rotating Saturday schedule.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• College degree is a plus.
