The position involves training, scheduling shifts, and supervising sales associates to ensure the smooth operation of the showroom. You will coordinate the operation by establishing goals for your sales associates and setting objectives to maximize their potential. In this role, you will consult with each sales associate to establish realistic sales goals for the month and create an action plan. You will offer coaching, advice, support, and motivation to help them meet their sales objectives. Monitoring each sales consultant's daily performance and comparing it with that week's objectives is crucial. You will also maximize merchandising efforts by using effective displays and controlling signage to ensure that the sales floor is attractive and welcoming. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of associate performance, sales, operations, and financial performance. Establishing and implementing individual and team goals is essential, as is effectively communicating with all partnering departments and management. Coordinating the placement of merchandise on the showroom floor with store management and creating a work environment where associates understand that their success is largely dependent on the success of the team are key responsibilities. Additionally, you may perform other functions as assigned at the discretion of management.
