About The Position

Find us at www.lightology.com We are seeking a dedicated and motivated leader to run our flagship award-winning downtown Chicago location. Lead our team of sales representatives and support staff in providing luxury service to our customers. As Showroom Manager, you will guide a team of sales and support staff in delivering a high-end customer experience. You will be responsible for daily operations, sales performance, team development, and maintaining the overall look and feel of the showroom.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years in a leadership role within a retail or showroom environment
  • Prior sales experience required; sales management preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience working with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
  • Saturday availability is mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, luxury-level in-store experience to every guest
  • Foster a culture of service excellence and collaboration
  • Resolve escalated customer service issues with professionalism and care
  • Identify and implement improvements in service and process
  • Maintain a tidy, organized showroom environment that aligns with brand standards
  • Manage in-store merchandising display production and rotation. Work with the internal team to ensure display inventory is current and accurate
  • Conceptualize, organize (including all logistics), and produce showroom events to support brand engagement and client outreach
  • Lead recruiting, training, mentoring, and scheduling of in-store staff
  • Maintain and grow client relationships and trade partnerships
  • Work with marketing to coordinate promotions, events, and sales strategies
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and optimize performance
  • Support and coach showroom staff, including sales associates and design consultants
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Additional duties as assigned
