About The Position

The Showroom Manager leads the day-to-day operations and visitor experience of Bobrick’s New York showroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable, high-touch experiences while bringing products to life through strong storytelling and thoughtful hospitality. You’ll blend brand presentation, operational leadership, and relationship-building to ensure every visit reflects Bobrick’s design-forward standards and professional reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • 8–10 years of experience in showroom management, design sales, or luxury retail environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and hospitality skills.
  • Strong visual merchandising sense and attention to detail.
  • Organized, proactive, and customer-oriented.
  • Highly collaborative and proactive in supporting sales, marketing, and corporate teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the experience and operations of Bobrick’s flagship showroom, ensuring it serves as a global hub for architects, designers, and end-users.
  • Manage all aspects of showroom operations, presentation, and scheduling.
  • Host architects, designers, developers, and distributor partners for tours, presentations, and events.
  • Collaborate with the NY Architectural Sales team to coordinate firm visits, CEU sessions, and launch events.
  • Coordinate closely with the NY Sales team to maintain a shared calendar of firm visits, presentations, and follow-ups, ensuring seamless coordination between showroom activity and field efforts.
  • Support the NY Sales team by assisting with inside sales activities — including lead follow-up, sample requests, tracking projects in CRM, preparing showroom-related presentation materials, and coordinating post-meeting communications with firms.
  • Act as the on-site liaison for project inquiries that originate from showroom visits or phone/email leads, qualifying opportunities and routing them to the appropriate sales manager or distributor partner.
  • Work with corporate marketing and leadership to plan and execute corporate-level visits and events — including hosting out-of-market architects, designers, developers, and distributor partners.
  • Assist in planning and executing showroom-based client marketing or networking events.
  • Coordinate logistics such as catering, AV setup, guest communication, and product demonstrations to deliver an exceptional brand experience.
  • Maintain immaculate product displays, ensuring all materials and samples are current and on-brand.
  • Track visitor data, feedback, and engagement metrics for internal reporting.
