Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience desired, but not required.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • AutoCAD, CAP or Giza experience desired, but not required.
  • Interior Design or experience in the Commercial/Office furniture industry desired, but not required.
  • Energetic personality with ability to plan, prepare & host showroom events.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • High degree of organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain showroom appointments/calendar and tours with dealers and other showroom visitors.
  • Answer phones and field questions/requests.
  • Increase awareness and interest among designers and end-users of Global’s brand, products and capabilities.
  • Negotiate with outside vendors and maintain budgets.
  • Coordinate off-site networking activities and plan food and beverage for multiple types of events.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updating of product displays in the showroom.
  • Prepare for events, including food service and procurement.
  • Maintain logs, budgets, and spreadsheets related to showroom, customers, presentations, and guests.
  • Inventory and maintain building and catering supplies.
  • Assist marketing/design department with daily administration and team projects.
  • Collaborate with Territory Manager and sales team members in the sales process.
  • Engage with dealers, designers, and project managers/brokers to communicate our brand, products, and services.
  • Identify and involve the company in projects that best suit our products and services.
  • Manage house accounts in the market and follow up with dealers/vendors as needed.
  • Develop appropriate relationships with key influencers.
  • Occasional travel required.
