About the Role As a Showroom Assistant, you're the heartbeat of our daily showroom operations. You'll work closely with our sales team and clients to keep things running smoothly — from welcoming guests and managing appointment flow to processing transactions and keeping our showroom looking its best. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, genuinely people-oriented, and eager to grow within a premium retail environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or a showroom environment preferred
- Warm, professional communication skills — in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic setting
- Comfortable with POS systems and basic computer tools
- A team-first attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping people
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and set the tone for an exceptional showroom experience
- Manage client appointment flow and coordinate scheduling for the sales team
- Support sales staff with order follow-ups, quotations, purchase orders, and returns
- Assist clients with product and order inquiries in person, by phone, and via email
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Help maintain the showroom's visual standards, including display upkeep and updates
- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and proper storage
- Collaborate with the team to hit sales targets and continuously improve client satisfaction
- Stay current on Studio Belmont's brands, products, and internal processes
- Uphold company policies related to customer service, safety, and security
