Shower Installer
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Shower Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with general construction, installation, or trade experience who are comfortable using hand and power tools and working in residential environments. Prior shower or glass installation experience is helpful but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will work on residential job sites assisting with the installation of shower enclosures while interacting professionally with customers and maintaining clean, safe work areas.
Requirements
- Any construction, installation, remodeling, or trade-related experience preferred
- Strong experience using hand and power tools required
- Willingness to learn shower and glass installation techniques
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions
- Safety-minded with the ability to work carefully around glass and finished surfaces
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials safely with assistance as needed
- Comfortable working in residential settings and interacting with customers
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential job sites to assist with measurements, layout, and installation
- Read and follow basic job instructions, layouts, or measurements
- Use hand and power tools (drills, levels, saws, grinders, etc.) to assist with installations
- Install or assist with installing shower components such as panels, doors, frames, tracks, and hardware
- Apply sealants, caulking, gaskets, or waterproofing materials as trained
- Help lift, position, align, and secure materials safely
- Ensure installations are level, aligned, and properly secured
- Assist with inspecting completed work and adjusting as needed
- Repair or replace components under supervision as needed
- Protect surrounding surfaces and clean job sites upon completion
- Maintain tools and equipment and report any damage or safety concerns
- Follow all company safety policies and always use proper PPE
- Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers
- Accurately track materials used and time spent on jobs
