About The Position

The Shopper Marketing Specialist will be part of a team building a new revenue stream at FreshDirect, with aggressive growth targets. This person will support Retail Media & Monetization initiatives, while also working with our Brand Partners and Category Managers to execute engaging Shopper Marketing initiatives through the FreshDirect site. They will help support a transformation of our Shopper Marketing activity and strategy and will perform analyses to drive tactical success across the Shopper Marketing toolset. They will also work to overhaul our existing processes for efficiency and more effective collaboration among cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail or brand marketing experience, preferably in the eCommerce and/or Grocery sector
  • Must be a strong collaborator with an ability to manage to completion projects with many stakeholders
  • A strategic, analytical, and operational-minded thinker
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently
  • BA/BS required, as well as demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Retail Media and Shopper Marketing activities from ideation to execution
  • Support process improvement for Shopper Marketing programming and integration
  • Measure and track performance of Shopper Marketing programming
  • Partner with FreshDirect Category Managers and Brand Partners to plan and execute Shopper Marketing strategies on site, driving sales and customer growth
  • Supports the design and implementation of the site monetization commercialization model
  • Develops media kits, playbooks, and other sales collateral in partnership with Monetization leadership and Merchandising team
